The pair roamed the area without much care in the world. This was the burnt scarred man attempts at bonding with his pokemon, though little was said or done in the form of such an act. The man watched the tauros curiously, admitting to himself that he did like this variant much better than his birth place variant.[break][break]

The bull casually strolled before him, suddenly spotting in tracks and began to dig his front hoof into the earth. His head bucked up and down, emitting a series of snorts. Maverick lifted his gaze in the direction the creature was facing, crimson colored orbs narrow to see what got him so worked up. And to his surprise, the slow moving fire and ground type camel moved out of the shadows to investigate the spicy scent that came from their direction.[break][break]

The fire type let out a more aggressive snort, head lowered as if he was ready to charge. Quickly, the ex gym leader spoke up. “It’s alright,” he mumbled to the creature, the hand that was in his pocket pulled out to tap the creature on the back, “Leave it. It was just curious about the incense. It won’t attack.” Much to Maverick assumption, the wild camerupt looked to them. His mouth opened wide in a yawn before turning to leave. “See,” the man replied, shoving his free hand back into his pocket before turning to leave, “Let’s head this way.”

Several hours had passed sense their last encounter with a wild pokemon. Crimson colored orbs fell to the incense, shaking the thing violently back and forth as if that was going to make it work better. A plum of spicy scent bellowed out, a gust of cool wind whipping by sending the scent off into the distance. Maverick frozen, gaze turned to the black and red tauros.[break][break]

A snap of a branch caught their attention, all eyes shifted to see what in the world it was. Standing several yards out, a wild fire monkey scoped them out. It let out a screech, fits balled up and pounded on its chest. The fire and fighting type snorted, head lowered as he began his charge again. Front left hoof scrapped the earth, eyes narrowed at the foe across the field. “Easy there,” Maverick grumbled, his own eyes narrowed at the creature in the distance, “Leave it. Let’s not get involved with it.” The paldeon touros let out an annoyed snort, really wanting to fight something.

Another few hours had pass sense their last encounter. And as the last bit of the incense sizzled out and the item was no longer of use, a curious final evolution starter pokemon peered out from a cluster of trees. Maverick spotted the creature, a brow rose as it emerged from its hiding and ignited its flames on its back.[break][break]

The paldean Taurus let out a snort. Hoof scrapped against the earth, charging up his desire to pick a fight. The wild pokemon roared back, accepting the fire and fighting types challenge. The creature snorted, charging forwards towards the foe. The wild typhlosion leaped forward into a ball, flames engulfed its body as it aimed for him. The Taurus didn’t back down, colliding into the flame wheel with his own RAGING BULL attack. The hit made a thud, leaving both parties hurt. Maverick’s creature didn’t back down, quickly recovering before the wild creature could and charging in for another attack. A ZEN HEADBUTT bashed into the creature, causing it to scream and soon faint right after.[break][break]

“Well done,” the man mumbled, moving in with an empty sphere in hand, “But wait for me to say to attack it.” The bull pokemon let out a snort, still high on the adrenaline rush of a fight. Maverick scoff, kneeling down to tap the sphere on the creature. The ball opened, sucking the creature in and locking behind it. It wiggled in his palm. Another typhlosion. Great.
